She caught the acting bug at the age of 18 while working on the stage adaptation of Edward Zwick's Legend's of the Fall, in which she performed as Alfred. Later on she got involved in several student productions, including Romeo & Juliet and Pygmalion. While completing her Master's degree she wrote scripts for student film episodes based on Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. She joined the Shakespeers – a semi-professional theatre company - with which she performed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at theatres and various festivals across the country. The love of musical theatre has increased Emilia's interest in singing which initiated her co-operation with professional singers and vocal coaches. She trained at Acting Studio ROE in Poznan, Poland and Michael Redwood’s KOA in London.
